- People don't respond well to aggression.
- People don't like being condescended to.
- People don't like to be told you're smarter than they are.
- People don't like to be held responsible for your feelings.
- People don't like to be proved wrong.
Foolishness
- It is foolish to expect other humans to think like you.
- It is foolish to expect humans to act as machines.
- It is foolish to treat humans as if they were machines.
- It is foolish to think that someone will come around to your way of thinking by beating them down.
- It is foolish to focus on a person when you want a behavior to change.
- It is foolish to assume that another person is the cause of your problems.
- It is foolish to assume that because you said something that the person hearing it heard the same thing.
- It is foolish to be angry when this is not the case.
- It is foolish to assume that the listener was at fault.
